Obituary of Kathryn Shealy Murrell

Kathryn Shealy Murrell, 95, of West Columbia, SC passed away Thursday, October 6, 2022.  A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, October 11, 2022, at Thompson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel with visitation one hour prior. Burial will follow in Celestial Memorial Gardens. 

Kathryn was predeceased by her husband, Tolbert; daughter, Mazie; and grandchildren, Deanna, Todd, and Brian.  She is survived by her daughters, Debby Reese, and Renee Shealy (Lynn); son-in-law, Billy Jenkins; grandsons, Billy Jr. (Chuck), and Ryan (Ashley); granddaughters, Pam Lance (Chad), Tammy Gray (Pat), and Brittany Shealy (John). She was also survived by eight great grands, and two great-great grands; and two special nieces, Chrissie (Mark), and Annette (Dean).  

Kathryn always saw the good in everyone. She loved God and everyone she came in contact with. She will be greatly missed by family and friends.
