Obituary of Grace L. Hartgraves

Mrs. Grace L. Hartgraves of Gaston, South Carolina, was born in Pocahontas, Arkansas. She was the daughter of the late Sterling Paul and Marjorie Louise Shipman.

Mrs. Hartgraves was a member of First Baptist of Gaston, SC. She accepted Christ at a young age and continued faithfully serving the Lord in whatever capacity she was asked to do. She also was a long-time faithful listener and supporter of BBN Radio Station along with other Christ led ministries. She was a firm believer of God's Word being preached like God intended for it to be preached.

She was preceded in death by her late husband David M. Hartgraves of which she was married to for 54 years and her daughter-in-law Tammie Newman.

Mrs. Hartgraves leaves to cherish her memories, one son, John (Tracie) Hartgraves of Gaston, SC; an honorary grandson who cared for her and Mr. Hartgraves, Mr. Ray Gillie (Angela) of the home. She also has four grandchildren and one great grandchild. Along with a host of friends.

A funeral service will be held at First Baptist of Gaston on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at 11am.
