Obituary of Doris Jones Martin

Doris Jones Martin, 90, of Lexington, SC, passed away peacefully at Agape Senior Care in Columbia, on Friday, August 19, 2022. She was born in Columbia, SC, to the late Theodore Lewis Jones and Erline Coker Jones on April 11, 1932.  

She is survived by many loving grand and great-grandchildren; a son-in-law, Roger Revenig of Lexington; and a brother, Ted Jones of Las Vegas, Nevada.  

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jesse Martin; sons, Steve and Roger Martin; daughters, Diane Lake, Sandra Rodgers, and Brenda Revenig; a brother, Alvin Jones; and a sister, Alice Jones Russell. 

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, August, 27, 2022, at Taylor Street Baptist Church, 1000 Hafley Court, in Cayce, with the Rev. Dan Rabon officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the funeral service. Entombment will take place immediately after at the Southland Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.  

Memorials may be made to the Taylor Street Baptist Church Building Fund.
