Harry Lee Williams was born February 13, 1945, in Lowndes County to the late Johnnie Julius Williams and Rosie Williams. He departed this life Friday, July 15, 2022, at 12:55 am at Wm. Jennings Bryan Dorn VA Medical Hospital.
He was preceded in death by his parents; late wife, Sikhui Son Williams; two brothers, Clarence Edwards and Osie Hines; four sisters, Clara Hines, Annie Poole, Evangeline Bluitt, and Emma Jean Smith.
He professed faith in Christ at an early age at Stephen Chapel Church, Columbus, MS.
Harry Williams attended Mitchell Memorial Elementary and Robert E. Hunt High School in the Columbus City School System. He later joined the army and was a very dedicated Sergeant for 30 years. While in the army, he furthered his education by attending college and achieving many degrees. He engaged in many different businesses and journeys with his belated wife.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his brother, Rev. Maurice (Katie) Williams of Columbus, MS, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends, along with his good friend Harry White and wife.
