So sorry to hear of Mr Randy's passing. It is always more difficult when this happens suddenly. There always seems to be things that were "undone" or "unsaid". The blessing in this instance is that everyone knows how deeply rooted in his God and in the service of others, There is no doubt as to where Randy now resides and he is in a place that we can hope, aspire and work to join him in. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Randy had a huge impact on my life when I was a very young teenager. He made me a Bible cover out of leather with my name on the inside. It is so special to me and I still have it. It holds a Bible that my mother gave to me around the same time. I also remember a simple conversation with him in the car when he picked Kay and me up from school one afternoon. We were listening to the radio, and this is before Christian rock music became available as it is now. Randy told us to just sing the love songs to Jesus. That seems so simple but over the years I have learned how much that opened my eyes to having Jesus in every single thing we do and to praise him in all things. What a gift that was!! It showed that even 47 years ago Randy was doing God's work and influencing a young girl who is now looking forward to spending eternity with Jesus. Thank you, Randy! I know you were welcomed home with open arms and incredible celebration!! Prayers continue for Barbara and family. This is such a hard transition, but I have learned in grief that private worship soothes the heart. Much love to you all. So glad we know Jesus! ❤️

Barbara, Levi, girls and family,
I cannot begin to put into words what a wonderful man Randy was. He loved each of you beyond measure and often told me so when I would see him at special times of the year. His love for you and for the Lord defined his life. I am broken hearted to think of your world without him; he was truly the most special person. He was my first friend when I moved to Lexington; he showed me true friendship. Over the years , as I met all of you, I began to see what an incredible family you are. You allowed me to think of you as 'my' family and I share your grief and feelings of grief and great loss. I know Randy is with our Savior; I know he is safe in the arms of God. I also know he will remain alive in our hearts always as 'love is eternal'. Love is the only emotion that never dies; Randy will always live in the goodness he left behind in all of us. I will be grieving with you and holding you close as you navigate this time of grief. I hope it helps to know you are not alone. I love each of you. As does Chuck Dawn Corley
