Obituary of Francisca Rodriguez

Francisca Rodriguez, 93, of Columbia, passed away on Sunday, June 19, 2022.  She was born on June 7, 1929 in Aibonito, Puerto Rico.

Francisca married Jose Rodriguez and went on to have 5 children: Carmen Driggers, Luz Arpan, Jose Rodriguez, Yolanda Rodriguez, and Edwin Rodriguez, MD.  Francisca loved taking care of children, going to church, playing Dominos, and spending time with her children, grandchildren, and friends. She is survived by her 5 children, 6 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.

The family will visit with friends Wednesday, June 22, 2022 from 6-8:00pm at Thompson Funeral Home at Greenlawn Memorial Park.  Services will be held at 10:30am, Thursday, June 23, 2022 at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 100 Polo Road Columbia, SC 29223. Interment will follow in Fort Jackson National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. John Neumann Catholic Church, an organization Francisca felt strongly about.
