Dear Amy,
Only a portion of Diane Crump Brock left this world on Friday — a big part of her remains in her lovely, brilliant, talented, and caring daughter, Dr. Amy Brock Martin, and her equally brilliant and inquisitive grandson, Lucas. These two are destined to save some part of our planet and as they do, we will forever have Diane with us. Like Diane, they know that there is much work that remains to be done and they have committed to a course of actions to this end.
Diane would be comforted to know that Greg will assist his beautiful family in negotiating the bereavement process. Special note to Jerry Brock, Amy's beloved father, we cannot imagine imagine your inconsolable grief at this time at the loss of your partner of some six decades. Take comfort in your loving family and know that we as a collective group share in the grief associated with so great a loss.
