Obituary of John A. Pleasant

John A. “Johnny” Pleasant passed away June 6, 2022 at home with his family present. Surviving is his wife, Nancy Neal Pleasant and daughter, Melody Neal Pleasant (Mark Smith), sister, Nellie Ann Barfield, and brother, Tommy Pleasant (Yvonne). He was preceded in death by Russell Pleasant, Pearl Kyzer, Lee Browder, Dickie Pleasant, and Ed Pleasant.

He was a Korea veteran, and retired from Southern Railway.  He was a member of the VFW and DAV.  He was a mason and umpired for Lexington County and USC baseball.
