Obituary of Susan Henson Morrison

Susan Henson Morrison, 67, daughter of the late John Thurman Henson and Martha Jean Cansler, passed away April 21, 2022.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday April 27, 2022, at Thompson Funeral Home in Lexington, SC, conducted by Pastor Eddie Bouknight.  The family will greet friends from 1:00-2:00 prior to the service. Following the service there will be a burial at WoodRidge Memorial Park on Corley Mill Road in Lexington.

Susan was born October 15, 1954, in Greer, South Carolina.  A graduate of the University of South Carolina – Upstate with a Nursing degree.  Susan loved to care for others, especially her husband and entire family.

Surviving are her husband, Randy Morrison; her 3 children, Jennifer Leigh Bell (Andrew) of Columbia, Ross Morrison of Lexington, Erin M. Bouknight (Mike) of Lexington; 4 grandchildren, Joshua “JT” Bouknight, Allyson Bouknight, Ansleigh Bell, Gabriel Bell; 2 brothers, Mike Henson (Ellen) of Greer, Daniel Henson(Michele) of Hillsborough, NJ; 1 sister, the late Tami Whitmire; 3 nieces, 7 nephews; and her beloved dog Charlie.
