Obituary of Billy E. Ellisor, Sr.

Ellisor, Billy E., Sr., 88, of 2247 Scott St., Hollywood, Fl., passed away Tuesday morning, March 15, 2022 at home with family. He was born on February 3, 1934 in Columbia, SC, but had lived in Chattanooga, TN; Atlanta, GA; and the last 20 years in Hollywood, FL. His most cherished memories were spent fishing, taking pride in his organic veggie garden, and taking care of his little doggy, Snowy.

He was formally employed with The Westin Peachtree Plaza in Downtown Atlanta, GA for thirty two years.

He was the son of the late Bennie Ellisor and Carrie Bell Ellisor.

Survivors include his wife of twenty years, Bienvenida Ellisor; stepsons, Santiago and Ignacio Santamaria; stepdaughter, Tania Santamaria; grandchildren, Juan Ignacio Santamaria and Amy Caceres; niece, Linda Nicholson Howington of Columbia, SC, Kathleen Ellisor and Sherry Hooks of Columbia, SC, Sandra Baker of Nebraska; and nephews Bo Floyd and Dan Alberg of Chattanooga, TN, Raymond F. Ellisor, Jr., Jerry E. Ellisor and Charles E. Ellisor of Columbia, SC, and James Ellisor and Burrell of Jacksonville, FL. 

Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 20, 2022 at 2:00pm in Thompson Funeral Home at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 845 Leesburg Road, Columbia, SC 29209.
