Knowing him has been such a Blessing as a neighbor, he was one of the Founding members of the Hickory Ridge Residents Association. He was a willing worker. He even participated as the lone percussionist in our Night's Out Parade. We shared a love of animals. He had Canadian Geese who made his home a stop off point as they migrated. When I adopted chickens, he visited with the little ones, saying they reminded him of his native Puerto Rico. He was so devout in his worship. He was not always the first to get there. Assuredly, he was one of the last to leave. His footsteps will always fall on the hallowed grounds of Saint Joseph Catholic Church. May he rest in peace and may eternal light always shine on him. He will be missed. Ve con Dios.

I feel like any words that I could say would do very little to assuage the grief you all must feel for such a significant loss to your family. I hope that the strength of your faith and the stability of your familial bond enables you to focus on the precious memories of his life so that you all can celebrate the man he was and not be overwhelmed by the pain of his passing.

Alicea, I can't thank you enough for the many great memories you gave me as a kid and as an adult. I enjoyed our many talks and the way you always remembered everyone. You were always happy, in a good mood, and brought a positive light with you anywhere you went. I know that you are in a better place, surrounded by family and love.

I can't even start to even say how long I have known Alicea, for as long as I have been alive, I can say I knew him. He was always stopping by to see my dad and mom. I remember him stopping by our house to talk with my dad and well for those who know my dad, he loved coffee so when Alicea would stop by my dad would say "Maria prepara cafe". They would drink coffee talk about well what else working on his car. I recall his famous "Dart" parked at the house and dad working his magic whether it was body work or mechanic work the car needed Dad was the man. The one thing that always stood out to me when Alicea would stop by was he would not only stop by to talk with my Dad and Mom, he would ask about all of us my brother Felix, my sister Anabel and myself. He would always speak and was just the kindest person. I can honestly say I will never forget him, he was a true friend and a great man.
