Obituary of Robert J. Grubbs, Jr.

Robert J. Grubbs, Jr., 58, of Lexington, SC, passed away suddenly on January 18, 2022.

Bobby was an amazing husband, father, and stepfather. He was a devoted pharmacist at Lexington Medical Center and loved his life. Bobby never met a stranger and had a heart made of gold.

Bobby is survived by his wife, Lesli Shelton Grubbs; sons, Robert Grubbs and Michael Grubbs; daughter, Sara Grubbs; brother, Wally Grubbs; stepson, Britton Rook; and his very dear friend, Joe.

Heaven gained a very special angel and words cannot express how much he was loved and will be missed.

A funeral service will be held for Robert J. Grubbs, Jr. on Sunday, January 23, 2022 at 1:00pm at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington, 4720 Augusta Road, Lexington, SC. Visitation will take place prior to the service 11:00am at the funeral home.
