Growing up on Neptune Drive, Mrs. Haynes was like my “second mom”. All my life, I have loved her and the Haynes family dearly. When I was a very young “entrepreneur”, she was sweet enough to buy ice cubes and cucumbers from me. And I remember Pam teaching me to play “Heart and Soul” with her on the piano at the Haynes’ house. The trips to “The Garden” at Farmer Jones’ place with her, Pam, and my mom are some of my favorite childhood memories. We ate wild plums and once chased a possum, until he turned on us and hissed! Mrs. Haynes raised the most loving and loyal friends I’ve ever had. For that, I am forever grateful. At the appointed time, we will all be reunited with the Lord in Heaven for eternity. I love y’all…always and forever. -- Eric DeBeaugrine

What a wonderful lady. Loved her with all my heart. So many memories over the years. When ever I would knock on the Haynes family door Mrs Haynes always acted like she was glad to see me. All I can say is God has called another one of his angels back home. Thinking of the family during this sad time.

Haynes Family,
I am so very saddened to see that Marianne passed away. I will always remember her sweet smile and welcoming spirit. Above all she dearly loved her family. Donnie, Jimmy and Pam - please know that I lost Ray in June, 2021. This has been a hard 7 months for me,as I know you are feeling the same at this time. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
With deepest sympathy,
Pam McFaddin

What a wonderful lady, we will dearly miss Mrs. Haynes. Her Galaxy home was always open to us neighborhood kids. I have too many memories to list, but one stands out. I remember her trying to teach us the rubber leg, but I never quite got it. I love her obituary, it is spot on! My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends.

So many memories of beautiful Mrs. Haynes. Dancing in the living room! Remembering her doing the "funky chicken" and the look on Jeannie and Pam's face. And Jeannie had perfected that dance as she got older. Pam too! Teaching us about gardening from a plot she rented and also her back yard. We shelled many a peas and beans at the Hatnes house. Driving a group of us home when Barbara Faircloth sprained her ankle and forgetting a car was parked behind her in the driveway, because there was a carload of screaming girls inside. Cooking big meals for us of the best food ever. Camping outside and spend the nights. SO many good memories. I'm so glad that I had a fantastic sit down visit with her this summer. And she was as beautiful and gracious as ever. You left quite a legacy and will be greatly missed. You taught us all how to live life until the very end. Tessie Andonaegui
