Obituary of Mary E. Ivey

Mary E. Ivey, 98, of Lexington, SC, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at Carolina Gardens at Lexington. She was born on April 9, 1923, in Chesterfield County to the late James Cordy and Katie Howle Johnson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Ruby and Helen; brothers, Melvin, Loriane, J.C., Jr., Rook, Olin, and Carthim.

She is survived by her daughters, Tina Ivey (Les Clark), and Sherry Livingston; her grandson, Kevin Livingston (Tina); great-grandchildren, Bryan, and Tonia; and sisters, Sadie, Amanda, and Memory.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00pm on Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Family and friends are invited to share memories during the service.
