My Roanoke College roommate, Fred, has taken the next journey and I will really miss his musical talents, humor, kicking ice chunks down College Avenue to the Orange Market. Our putting together a song to remember Martin Luther King, Jr upon his death. His surprising me at my installation as Presbyterian minister at McLean church in West Virginia. I have many cherished moments of our experiences over many years. Peace and joy in Christ, Carl F Pattison 540-556-1740

Lisa and Jill,
What can I say about this giant of a man? I have so many memories of him, from meeting y'all as a child in the 5th grade, spending time together in your home, thru high school and college, both of your weddings thru today. If you were around him for any amount of time, you quickly learned several things about Fred Tate; he loved God and was a true and faithful servant in his daily life, he loved this country, he LOVED the Redskins and most of all, he loved, loved, loved his family! I know this time is very hard for y'all and it will be for a time to come. Please know that all of y'all are loved and are covered in prayer by so many people.
I love y'all so much!
Leslie
