Dawn was a woman of God who truly believed in Him and His Power. Her strong foundation in Christ was built early-on, as she was a long-time member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Columbia. Dawn would always say “let go and let God.” She taught grace, kindness, and embraced forgiveness. Her beautiful smile and laughter are contagious. Her sense of humor was unrelenting. She dearly loved her family no matter what, and held all of her friends dear to her heart. Dawn was, and still is, an incredible woman! If you ever had the chance to meet her, you automatically saw the light she exuded to those around. We truly miss you Oma, and will watch and listen for your continued presence. Our hearts are broken, but we are Steel Magnolias and will continue to carry on. We love you …until we meet again!

Thompson Funeral Home at Greenlawn Memorial Park is in charge of the arrangements.
