Obituary of Johnny Lewis Richardson, Jr.

Johnny Lewis Richardson, Jr., 69, of Lexington died unexpectedly on November 11, 2021. Johnny was the eldest son of Johnnie Lewis Richardson, Sr. and Annie Eloise Frick Richardson. He was born December 16, 1951.

Johnny loved to hunt, fish and watching all of God’s creatures. He retired from Dominion/SCE&G after 46 years working as a lineman.

Johnny is predeceased by his parents, Johnnie Lewis Richardson, Sr. and Annie Eloise Frick Richardson. He is survived by his son, R. Blaine Richardson (Alyssa) of West Columbia; two beloved granddaughters, Hartley and Georgia; his sister, Shirley R. Dover; brother, David Richardson, both of Lexington; his nephew, Paul Painter of Hawaii; and his loving canine companion, Molly. He is also survived by numerous extended members of the Richardson and Frick families.

The family will receive friends at the Woodridge Memorial Chapel Mausoleum beginning from 10:00-11:00am on Wednesday, November 17, 2021.  A celebration of life will immediately follow, with a graveside service thereafter at the Woodridge Memorial Park.
