Obituary of Betty Jo Kazmierczak

Betty Jo Kazmierczak, 82, of Columbia, SC, passed away on October 20, 2021. She was born on July 20, 1939 to the late Coley L. Lawhon and Mary Lee Howell Lawhon.

She loved spending time with her family, enjoyed listening to music, and being outdoors. Betty was a loving mother and Mimi, who cherished her family. 

Betty was predeceased by her husband, Richard Kazmierczak; and sister, Patricia Ann Sutton. She is survived by sons, Joel L. Davis (Angie) of Columbia, John Davis of Columbia, and Billy Davis (Yalitza) of Allentown, PA; grandchildren: Cory Davis, Austin Davis, John Davis, Chase Davis, Anna Davis, Xavier Davis, and Gaby Guerrero; and one great- granddaughter, Leanne Davis.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00pm on Monday, October 25, 2021 at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 845 Leesburg Road, Columbia, SC. A visitation will take place prior to the service from 1:00-3:00pm at Thompson Funeral Home at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
