Obituary of Harold Autry Goodwin

Harold Autry Goodwin, 80, of Lexington, danced and sang his way to heaven on October 5, 2021. He was born to the late Perry L. and Mittie A. Goodwin on July 16, 1941 in Pelion, SC. Harold was an avid outdoorsman, and his pride and joy were his 8 grandchildren. 

In addition to his parents, Harold was proceeded in death by brothers, Charles, Perry, and Donald Goodwin; and one sister, Listina Goodwin.

Harold is survived by his wife, Joanne Light Goodwin; sisters, Georgia Fogle, and Catherine Hutto; children, Sabrina Collins (Kelly), Lisa Spence, Stephanie Morris (Ken), and Kevin Goodwin; grandchildren, Celeste Mills, Taylor Spence, Jordan Collins, Gage Goodwin, Jakson Spence, Cameron Morris, Grayson Collins, Caleb Morris.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 8, 2021 at 3:30pm at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington, 4720 August Road, Lexington, SC 29073. The family will host a visitation immediately following the service.
