Obituary of Frances Sims Boggs
Frances Sims Boggs, 93, of Lexington, widow of Buster “Butch” Boggs, left her earthly home and went to meet her heavenly reward on Wednesday, September 22, 2021.
Frances was born August 1, 1928 in Great Falls, SC to the late Isaac Sims and Dora Moore Sims. A long-time follower of Christ, she was a faithful and active member of Crossroads World Outreach Center until the end. A loving mother and grandmother, she was known and loved by all who knew her as a sweet person who always had a smile to give. Frances loved her Clemson Tigers football and would “actively” watch every game she was able to.
She is survived by her brother Isaac Sims (Bonnie) of Sacramento, CA; children, Roger Williams of Kershaw, SC, Patricia Nadeau (Ralph) of Rock Hill, SC, Harlan “Keith” Haycraft of Columbia, SC; six grandchildren; and one great grandchild. She was predeceased by her sisters, Ruby Wade and Nita Sims; brothers, James Sims and Carl Sims; and son, Milford Haycraft, Jr.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 26, 2021 from 4:00-5:30pm at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington. Funeral services will be held on Monday September 27, 2021 at 11:00am at Crossroads World Outreach Center, 2606 Emanuel Church Rd, West Columbia, SC 29170, with a graveside service to follow at Celestial Memorial Gardens, 3111 Delree St, West Columbia, SC 29170.
