Obituary of Cecil Raymond Browder, Sr.

Cecil Raymond Browder, Sr passed away on August 25, 2021. Born on December 15, 1926, he was the son of James Nelson Browder, Sr. and Bessie Windham Browder.  

He graduated from Olympia High School and married his high school sweetheart, Elaine Sturgeon. This union produced four sons: Ray, Jr, John Paul (deceased), Stephen Michael and Robert Nelson; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. 

Cecil started working for Kraft Foods Company in 1953. He was employed there for 36 years, working in Columbia, Charleston, Spartanburg, Greenville and Atlanta. 

Due to the ongoing pandemic and to be sure to avoid infection of our precious family, a memorial service will be held at a later date. Thank you for your prayers during this difficult time.
