Obituary of Bradley Thomas Douglass

Bradley Thomas Douglass, “Brad”, passed away on Monday, July 19, 2021. Born on April 26, 1987, he was 34 years old. He was a much beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend.

Brad loved his family, his dog Maddie, playing disc golf and computer games. His friends knew of his quick wit and quirky sense of humor. Brad loved being his family’s “IT Guy” and built his first computer as a young teen.

Brad was a graduate of Lexington High School and earned an Associate’s Degree from Florence-Darlington Tech. He recently earned his CCNA certificate (Cisco Certified Network Administrator) and started his dream job in the IT Department at Tupperware in Hemingway. Just prior to that, he worked 3 years at ACS (Automated Church Systems) in Florence.

Brad loved his heavenly Father and had a deep personal faith. He attended NewSpring Church in Florence. He had a tender heart and a compassionate spirit. His smile was infectious and he gave the best hugs.

Brad is survived by his father, Frank A. (Sparky) Douglass, III, his mother JoAn, his sister Erin; his grandmother Mary H. Godwin and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Frank and Elaine Douglass, and Billy Paul Godwin.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Ezekiel Ministries (www.ezeministries.org/donate) or NewSpring Church, Florence SC (www.newspring.cc/give).
