Obituary of Paul R. Wolfe

Paul R. Wolfe, 68, of Elgin, SC, passed away July 12, 2021 at Prisma Health Richland. He was born on January 13, 1953 in Monroe, NC to Carl and Elizabeth (Helms) Wolfe.

Paul proudly served his country for 21 years in the United States Army, where he most notably served as a Drill Sergeant. He also worked for another 21 years for Sherwin Williams. Paul courageously fought cancer for the past 3 years and was described by his wife, Sherry, as a very wonderful and sweet man. He will be dearly missed.

Paul is survived by his wife Sherry, of Elgin, SC, and one sister, Margaret Carter of Locust, NC. He was preceded in death by one brother, Carl "Butch" Wolfe.

A committal service for Paul will be on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at 1:00pm at Fort Jackson National Cemetery, Columbia, SC, where full military honors will be performed to honor his dedicated service.
