Obituary of Sheri Lynn Kunz

Sheri Lynn Kunz passed away June 20, 2021. As all of you know, she was born in Chicago, IL on July 12, 1961.

Sheri’s strength was her two daughters, Sarah Moseley and Tiler Kunz. Her four grandchildren, Payton Moseley, Emma Moseley, Gracie Moseley, and Aidan Lemay were the light of her life. Sheri was affectionately known as “YaYa” by her grandchildren.

Sheri was a straight-forward, kind-hearted, and humble woman. Anyone who knew Sheri knew she was a lifelong Chicago Cubs fan. She had her own rags, cups, figurines, and coasters of the Cubs. She loved the city of Chicago, but always said “I don’t see why people think the city is pretty, it’s just all brick”. Sheri was an avid coffee drinker and insisted to drink a cup with every meal. Now let’s not get started on her Stephen King novels. Anyone who walked into Sheri’s house automatically knew how much she enjoyed his books when they saw the bookshelves stuffed with 50 plus books. Sheri also loved the Florida Keys, where she tended bars and worked at restaurants. Sheri spent many years on the carnival, where she met her best friends. I’m sure she’s dancing up in heaven with one of them right now. “Chatty” is what she was called. Everyone always talked about how fast she could spit out words to attract the next customer.

Sheri won’t be forgotten, her spirit will forever live through her daughters, her friends and family.
