Obituary of Evelyn Robertson Lee

Evelyn Jeanette Lee, 92, of Gaston, passed away on June 15, 2021. Born in Ninety Six, SC, she was the daughter of the late Wallace and Hattie Robertson.

Mrs. Lee was a member of First Baptist Church of Gaston. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother, a faithful Christian servant who served as a Sunday school teacher for Senior Women, as well as an R.N. who touched many lives. She loved her pets Bailee, Molly and Ellie.

Surviving are daughter, Leah Jeanette Lee of Gaston; son, Christopher McKinley Lee (Melissa); grandson, Nicholas McKinley Lee of Gaston; cousins, Doris Jovanelly of Columbia, and Dorothy Wadford of Johnston; and many numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, Dempsey McKinley Lee, as well as 7 brothers and sisters.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at 11:00am at First Baptist Church of Gaston Cemetery, officiated by Rev. Brady Henderson. Memorials may be made to Gaston First Baptist, 121 Oakey Springs Dr., Gaston, SC 29053.
