Obituary of Brenda Grier Duke

Brenda Grier Duke, of Prosperity, wife of George Duke, passed away peacefully in her home Saturday, May 22, 2021. She was born in Hemingway, SC, on February 16, 1952.

Brenda worked for the Bell Telephone for over 40 years until she retired several years ago.

In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by her mother, Genevieve Bennett; brothers, Kelly and Donald Grier; step-father, Bob Bennett; step-brother, Leslie Bennett (Harlana); and step-sister, Patti Bennett. Brenda has many nephews, nieces and cousins, all of which she cared for deeply.  

Brenda was preceded in death by her father, Richard and brother, Ricky.

Flower memorials are welcome and will be donated to local nursing and assisted living homes.
