Obituary of Dennis Eugene McPherson

Dennis Eugene McPherson, known to most as ‘Gene’, was born in Dayton, Ohio on May 6, 1929. He lived much of his life in Kentucky, but moved to West Columbia, SC in 1967, where he remained in the same home until his death on April 19, 2021. Near the end of his life, he was lovingly cared for by his wife, Mary Grace, SC House Calls, and Agape Hospice.

His memory is cherished by children: Charles David (Maureen) of Lexington, SC; Clyde Evan (Kim) of Chapin, SC; and Mary Gene (Charlie Davis) of West Columbia, SC.

His Celebration of Life service will be held at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington, 4720 Augusta Road, Lexington, SC on Sunday, April 25, 2021 at 3:00pm, with visitation being held prior to the service at 2:00pm.
