Obituary of Elizabeth Annette "Anne" Pritchard

A memorial service for Anne Pritchard, 80, of West Columbia, will be held at 12:00 PM, Friday, April 9, 2021 at the Mausoleum Chapel of Woodridge Memorial Park, 138 Corley Mill Road, Lexington, SC. Pastor Steve Kittrell will officiate. The family will greet friends for one hour prior to the service in the chapel. Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington is assisting the family with arrangements.

Anne Pritchard passed away March 26, 2021. Born in Columbia, she was a daughter of the late Sink Field Reynolds and Annie Mae Morgan Reynolds. Anne was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister who will be deeply missed by her family, and her church family at Laurel Baptist Church. Anne was a member of Women of the Moose, Cayce Chapter, for many years, and was a past Senior Regent in the organization. Anne was a 1959 graduate of Lower Richland High School, and had retired from Shakespeare Monofilament after 24 years of service.

Anne is survived by her loving children: daughter, Edie Godfrey (Stan) of Irmo; son, Don Pritchard (Leeann) of West Columbia; grandchildren: Lynn Williams (Matt) of Simpsonville, Kathleen Simmons (Ben) of Irmo, Alex Pritchard of Irmo, Adriana Pritchard of Chapin; great-grandchildren: Macie and Farr Williams, and Hilton Simmons; brother, William “Bill” Reynolds of Asheville, NC; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Anne was predeceased by her loving husband of 48 years, Jesse Donald Pritchard; grandson, Russell Scott Mitchell.

The family would like to thank the staff of National Health Care, West Columbia, for their loving and attentive care of Anne over the past year. Memorials may be made to Laurel Baptist Church, 2250 Pine St, West Columbia, SC 29170.
