Obituary of Mary Ann Hux

Mary Ann Hux of Columbia, S.C. passed away peacefully Sunday, March 14, 2021 at home. 

She was born July 24, 1939 in Shelton, Connecticut to the late Florence Elizabeth and Henry William Rotters. She retired from the State of South Carolina Comptroller Generals Office.

Mrs. Hux is survived by a son, Robert Lee Hux, Jr. (Susan) of Hopkins; a daughter, Joanne Davis (Greg) of Timmonsville;  three grandchildren, Maggie Hux of Lugoff, Zach Summerlin (Tori) of Virginia, Kara Summerlin of Montana, and four great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hux was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Hux, her sister, Dorothy Lancaster, and a grandson, Patrick William Hux. 

A private service will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church.
