Obituary of Stanley Wade Higgins

Stanley Wade Higgins, 72, of Columbia, SC, went home to be with the Lord and his angels on February 6, 2021.

 

He was preceded by his parents, Wade Hampton Higgins and Mattie Lee Higgins, and his son Todd Higgins. He is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Rosemary Corley Higgins; daughter, Lisa Morrow (Gerald); daughter-in-law, Michelle Higgins; grandchildren, Emily Higgins and Dillon Higgins; great granddaughter, Ylva Long; also three siblings: Faye Spires (Robert), Neal Higgins (Kaye), and Van Higgins (Linda).

 

“A meaningful life is not being rich, being popular, being highly educated or being perfect....It is about being real, being humble, being able to share ourselves and touch the lives of others. It is only then that we can have a full, happy and contented life.”

 

Stanley was a sincere and unpretentious man. With that said, per his wishes no services will be held.
