Obituary of Carol Sue Long

Carol Sue Long, 79, passed away on Monday, January 11, 2021. Born on August 29, 1941 in Zaleski, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Phillip Colley and Florence McKibben Colley.

Carols life centered around her family. They brought her immense joy and happiness. She will be dearly missed.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, PFC James C. Griffith as well as a brother, James Duke Colley.

Left to cherish her memory is her beloved husband, Kenneth Long, Sr.; children, Karla Drake, Lisa (Keith) Keene, Dane Griffith, Donnie Pendleton, Kenny Long, Jr., and Max Riddle; grandchildren, Sharon Gasiewski, Jennifer Roberts, Tiffany (Terry) Pennington, and Amber (Casey) Heiney; great grandchildren, Triston Wagenknecht, Olivia Gasiewski, Izabel Gasiewski, Marissa Roberts, TJ Roberts, Sophia Arteaga Griffith, Lila Lyn Medina Griffith, Titus, Tinsley, and Taylor Pennington, Waylon, Emory, and Raina Heiney; brother, Danny Colley; best friends, Doris Ryals and Bob (Robin) Sterner.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at 10am at Fort Jackson National Cemetery, 4170 Percival Rd. Columbia, SC 29229.
