Obituary of "Jimmie" Catherine T. Brazell

“Jimmie” Catherine T. Brazell went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 3, 2021. Catherine was born to Mr. Earl Tidwell and Mrs. Eunice Pearl Tidwell on March 1, 1944 in Columbia, SC.

Catherine made her professional career at Wentworth Printing. However, her true passion came in spending time with her loving family and praising and worshiping Jesus at The EDGE Church of which she was a member for 35 years. In her spare time she enjoyed singing and dancing and above all, praising her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Catherine is preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Eunice Pearl Tidwell, her two sisters, Nadine Sox and Jeanette Conroy and her son, Mark Brazell.

Catherine is survived by her brother, Richard Tidwell, her sister, Deborah Jeffcoat, her daughters, Julie Holiday and Frances Fontaine, her nine grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

A celebration a life service will be held by the family at The EDGE Church on Thursday January 7, 2021 at 7 pm. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you send donations to The EDGE Church at 3220 Platt Springs Road, West Columbia, SC 29170.
