Obituary of Olin David Bradley
Olin David Bradley, 84, went home to be with his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, December 29, 2020. Born on May 19, 1936 in Camden, SC, he was a son of the late Daniel Lawrence Bradley, Sr. and Theo Payne Bradley.
He served honorably in the US Navy for 20 years and retired from the Veterans Administration 20 years later. He was a member of First Baptist Church of West Columbia, where he faithfully served as a deacon, Sunday School Teacher and Director of the Senior Adult Sunday School Department. He was a kind, loving and caring husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He loved to be with people, tell stories and eat good food, especially sweets.
Left to cherish his memory are his three children, Randall "Randy" Bradley (Eva), Vickie Bradley Winn (Roy), and Karen Bradley Baggott (Andy); 6 grandchildren, Kathy Winn Henson (Devin), Stormy Baggott Walker (Nick), Rebekah Winn Brazell (Justin), Malorie Baggott Roberts (James), Andrew Baggott and Melanie Winn; 8 great-grandchildren, Anna Claire Henson, Charlie Henson, Grace Anne Brazell, Cole Walker, Fisher Roberts, Colton Brazell, Jordan Brazell and Mason Roberts. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 56 years, Annie Lee Taylor Bradley; two brothers, C. Levi Bradley and Daniel "Dan" Bradley; sister, Allene Bradley Graham and granddaughter, Misty Nichole Baggott.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 3, 2021 at 2:00pm at Thompson Funeral Home, 4720 Augusta Rd. Lexington, SC 29073. The family will receive friends beginning at 1pm at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Woodridge Memorial Park, 138 Corley Mill Rd. Lexington, SC 29072.
