Obituary of James Paul Busbee, Sr.

James Paul Busbee, Sr., 79, of Lexington, SC, passed away December 2, 2020 at Lexington Medical Center, West Columbia, SC. He was born on October 8, 1941 in West Columbia to the late James and Annie Lou Sightler Busbee. 

Paul was a supervisor for 26 years for Carolina By-Products. He was an avid hunter and a lifelong member of Eutawville Hunting Club.

He was predeceased by a brother and a sister. Survivors include his wife, Miriam Crawford Busbee; children: Glenda Oswald (Russell), Paul "Duke" Busbee (John) and Donna Owens (Thurman). Also surviving are four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, along with three brothers and three sisters and numerous nephews and nieces.

An Outdoor Service will be held at 12:00pm on Thursday, December 17, 2020 at the Chapel of Hope in Southland Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
