Dorothy Zenoni Smith passed away on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. Dot, as known by her friends and family, was born on May 4, 1934, in Blaney, SC to the late Charles and Roxie Bowen. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 32 years, Johnny Zenoni, founder of Providence Home, where she spent countless hours supporting Johnny in his ministry. She was blessed to have later met and married James Smith of West Columbia, having shared 21 happy years together prior to his passing in January 2020. She was also predeceased by her grandson, Timothy Shealy, Jr.; brother, Sonny Bowen; and sisters, Lillian Wilson and Betty Massey.

She is survived by her children, Pat (Tim) Shealy, John (Terri) Zenoni, and Gregory P. Zenoni; sisters, Brenda Hennessee and Gwen Tidwell; her grandchildren, Tara Shealy, Lauren Banish, Anthony Quarles, Christopher Zenoni and Robert Zenoni; and her two great-granddaughters, Addy Kate and Sutton, as well as countless nieces and nephews. Dot was also blessed with many step-children and step-grandchildren through her marriages to both Johnny and James. Our mother was Mother and Grandmother to many whom she loved.
