Obituary of Brenda Godsey

Brenda Godsey, 67, of West Columbia, SC went home to be with the Lord December 7, 2020 at Lexington Medical Center in West Columbia, SC. She was born in Welch, WV on January 24, 1953 to the late Muriel E. Blevins and Helen Flynn.

Brenda is survived by her brother, Danny (Mamie Lou) Blevins; her sister, Alaina Sue (Jim) Martinez; her daughters, Cindy (Kris) Riley and Heather (Isabel) James; her granddaughters, Stephanie (Rachel) Riley and Stacie Drinkwine; her 4 great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donnie Godsey; her sister, Carolyn White; her brother, William Blevins; her parents, Muriel and Helen.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 13, 2020 from 5:00-7:00pm at Thompsons Funeral Home at Greenlawn Memorial Park 845 Leesburg Rd, Columbia, SC.

There will be a private family burial to follow on Monday.
