Obituary of Dorothy Elizabeth Carver

Dorothy Elizabeth Carver was born June 9, 1932 in Dallas, Texas. She went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, November 24, 2020.

She is survived by her daughter, Terri Hathcox of Lexington and her son, Mark Hathcox and his wife Lelanette also of Lexington. Dorothy is also survived by her four grandchildren, Elizabeth Haselden and her husband Oscar, Katie Hoard and her husband David, Jacob Hathcox and his wife Allison and Carson Hathcox, along with six great grandchildren.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband Bob Carver, her parents Clarence J. Carson and Elvira Greer Carson, her brothers Jimmy Carson and Bobby Carson.

Dorothy loved her family, Jesus and her Church, Green Hill Baptist Church. She was known at her church as “The Birthday Lady”. She will be greatly missed by her family and her Church family.

In lieu of flowers, her family is requesting donations be made to one of her favorite charities, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
