Obituary of Jewell M. Rumfelt

Jewell M. Rumfelt, 82, of Sandy Run, SC, passed away on November 9, 2020. Born July 3, 1938 in Little Mountain, SC, she was the daughter of the late Olin L. and Elberta E. Metts.  

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by husbands Paul J. Rumfelt and John Goodale Sr., and son, William Olin Rumfelt.  Surviving are sons, Paul J. Rumfelt Jr.(Wanda), of Little Mountain, Michael K. Rumfelt (Karen) of Pomaria, and daughter, Cathy R. Hill (Barry) of Sandy Run, as well as a brother, Alfred D. Metts (Sandra) of Little Mountain. She is also survived by grandchildren: Paul J. Rumfelt III, Alicia Stroud, Elizabeth Price, Matthew Hill, and Stephen Rumfelt and four great grandchildren, as well as two nieces and a nephew.

Jewell was a member of Beulah UMC of Sandy Run. A memorial service will be planned at a later date. Donations can be made to Chapman’s Dachshund Rescue (https://www.chapmansdox.com) or to a charity of your choice.
