Obituary of Madge H. Black

Madge H. Black, 93, of Cayce, SC, passed away Sunday, November 1, 2020. She was born on December 1, 1926 in  Kibbee, GA to the late Roland and Alma Lee Miller Humphrey.

In addition to her parents, Madge was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon O. Black, Sr. and sons, Gordon O. Black, Jr. and David Charles Black. 

Survivors include her daughter, Linda Shumpert; granddaughter, Heather Slice (Joseph); grandson, David Ira Shumpert; four great grandchildren: Brandon Slice, Emily Slice, Reece Chapman and Lucas Shumpert; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Madge was a long time member of West Side Baptist Church. She was retired from Belk Department Store.

A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00pm on Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at Celestial Memorial Gardens, 3111 Delree Street, West Columbia, SC.
