Obituary of Leonard B. Rose

Leonard B. Rose, 82, passed away Saturday, October 17, 2020. He was born June 23, 1938 in Ivydale, WV to the late Spencer and Estel Rose. In addition to his parents, Leonard was preceded in death by one brother, Aris Gene Rose and one daughter, baby Rose.

Mr. Rose is survived by sons, David Rose (Tammy), Tim Rose (Kim), and Tom Rose (Nichole); one brother, (Noble); one sister, Rosalee; 10 grandchildren, Kaylen, Michael, Sammi Lynn, Junior, Jordan, Brittani, Alyssa, Bethany, Mark, and Jarrett; 5 greatgrandchildren, Taylor, Roxanne, Brylee, Rocky and Ralph.

Leonard attended Ebenezer Nazarene Church of Aiken. He was baptized in 1957 at First United Presbyterian Church in Akron, Ohio.  He retired from working in manufacturing as a scheduling manager. He was a United States Air Force veteran. He loved going to auctions, flea markets and couponing to see how much money he could save.  Leonard was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend and will be missed by all.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 22, 2020 at 12:00pm at Fort Jackson National Cemetery, 4170 Percival Rd, Columbia SC. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 from 6:00 until 8:00pm at Thompson Funeral Home, 4720 Augusta Road, Lexington, SC.
