When I first moved to Columbia in 1995 not knowing anyone or the direction life would take me I met two wonderful guys Nigel and Tige! I worked for them, and met so many wonderful people along the way..Debbie his sister became a co-worker, his Mom Eloise would always lend an ear or shoulder or ride home in the rain after work..we had such a wonder bond and forever friends were made! I felt like a Campaign Groupie following them throughout the years and Tally Ho at the end of each Win! I have a poem to share for all as this is not the end.. Nigel will always be in my fondest memories. My Thoughts and Prayers to all!
If there were no tomorrow
I would have no sorrow
The life I have had
Has made me glad
If there were no tomorrow
I have lived on time that was borrowed
The joy of knowing
Has kept me going
The lives that have touched me
Are vaster than the seas
Every person, place, or thing
Was brought on a doves wing
For everyone that has touched my life
Was a lesson and not out of strife
For tomorrow is never promised
So live your life and be honest
Every second, of every day
We always have time and pause to say
The words, laughter, and memories
Could fill a book for centuries

I remember the first time meeting Nigel. It took all of about 30 seconds to know he was going to fit into our crazy family. When you saw him you knew you were going to get a smile, a laugh, and best of all a warm hug. There are so many things I will miss just to name a few the laughter, hugs, the stories, and last and certainly not least that delicious tomato pie you introduced me too. As sad as it is to lose you heaven gained a gorgeous soul and I'm sure there are many up there glad to see you. Make sure you listen for Nana's "yoo hoo".

I don't have the words to express myself regarding the passing of this lovely soul whom I knew as Nicky. I already miss his crazy humor and laugh. My heartfelt condolences to Tige and the rest of Nicky's family. Heaven has gained an angel, but we've lost one here in the earthly plane.
When my Aunt Mary passed, Nicky laid it down for me. He explained how Southern Christian Funerals go and told me that we'd head back to the church and partake in all the good eats the Church ladies make! He explained it in a way that only Nicky could! With all the sadness that day, he made me laugh.
I'll miss our private FB msgs, but I'll keep an eye out for your spirit to come for a visit anytime! I love you Nicky.

I meet Nicky 30 years ago when he first moved to Columbia SC with his best friend Ken . Ken was hired as a bartender at Partners night club and suggested that we hire Nicky to fill a bar back position we had open at the night club. Nickey quickly moved up to bartender position and his great personality and caring attitude quickly made him our top bartender. He carried that positive attitude thru out his many early jobs in retail and night club management positions . His easygoing personality made everyone feel welcome and loved. Nickey and his partner Tigue started Campaigning Resources and Strategy a political campaign consultancy and over the years built they built it into a highly sought after campaign winning agency. His happiness and love will be missed by his family and many many friends.

Auntie Mame may have originally said " Life is a banquet, and most poor fools are starving to death!" but Nicky lived her words. He swore he would never starve. He was full of life, had a wonderful sense of humor and a caring soul.
