Obituary of Kenneth Wade Linville, Sr.

ELGN - Kenneth Wade Linville, Sr. passed away unexpectantly on June 12th, 2020 at his home in Elgin, SC. He was born September 20th, 1957 in Burlington, North Carolina and was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Edgar D. Linville. Kenny attended Spring Valley High School, where he met the love his life, Ramona Burks, whom he married on June 9th, 1977. Kenny was a loving husband, father, grandfather and a true friend. He enjoyed fishing, he loved his dogs, and he loved working on old cars. He loved being called Papa by his granddaughter Bella Linville, whom he adored. He was the proud owner of his own Roofing and Construction company for over 30 years. He had no fear, when it came to hanging out on the edge of the roofs he worked on.  

Kenny is survived by his daughter, Marshanna M. Wright and her husband Trey; his son, Kenneth W. Linville Jr.; granddaughter Isabella Linville and special family friend, Maria Patterson. He is also survived by his brother Tim Linville and sisters Donna Linville, Marci Ann Bell and Debbie Jackson. He is survived by numerous brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws and several nephews and nieces. Kenny was predeceased by his parents, his sister Sharon Partin and his loving wife, Ramona Burks Linville, who passed away on February 19th, 2020.
