Obituary of Bobbie Jean Porter

Bobbie Jean Porter, 62, of Lexington, took her last breath peacefully at home on Thursday June 11, 2020. She was born on July 30, 1957 in Richland County to H.L. Vereen and Earnestine Carter. Bobbie was a caring lady and a wonderful mother. She had a full, loving life and cherished her children and grandchildren. Bobbie was hard-working, was loved by everyone who met her and and will never be forgotten.

Bobbie is survived by five children: Craig and Melanie Caughman, Charles Rich, Tina Dyches and Billie Harley;  12 grandchildren: Ashley and Amber Caughman, Cheyenne Rich, Daphine Rock, Tyler, Justin and Victoria Smith, Briana and Alexis Wyman, Shawn Dyches, Roy Price Jr. and Noah Dyches.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 - 2:00pm on Sunday June 14, 2020 at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington. A graveside service will follow at 3:30pm in Rocky Swamp Church Cemetery, 7387 Neeses Highway, Springfield, SC 29146.
