It's impossible to capture all that Adam was in a single post. He was smart, tough, athletic; he was playful, kind, and curious; he was a person of faith, charity, and humility. He was a pole vaulter and a trombone player. He marched in the Rose Bowl parade and, believe it or not, won a state championship in taking the SAT. He loved to laugh and had a wit that was second to none. He lived his ideals and moved with dignity and a sense of purpose.
He was my best friend through grade school. All of my most-cherished childhood memories were with Adam, and I will miss him terribly.
"Each man's death diminishes me, for I am involved in mankind. Therefore, send not to know for whom the bell tolls, It tolls for thee."
My thoughts and prayers go out to the Wilson family and everyone else that loved Adam. He was truly one of a kind. We are all diminished by his loss.
Sincerely,
Ankit Shrivastava

I was shocked to hear the news about Adam. I was Adam's first supervisor at Hubbell and he was without a doubt the best hire that I ever made.
He was extremely bright, compassionate, witty and on and on.
We shared a passion for travel and it was great to discuss future travel goals with him. We learned a lot from each other about possible destinations.
I had the privilege of meeting with him each time I was able to make it into the Hubbell office after my retirement.
I loved seeing him participate with the Aiken Community Band and The Experiment and I-20 Horns in the Alley in Aiken.
I could keep going with praise but I guess I should close by saying I can't possibly understand the pain his parents are experiencing but for whatever comfort it may give them they can be very proud they raised a wonderful human being and he will be dearly missed.

I did not know Adam, never met the man, but I did know his parents, Shay, being my cousin and Willard, I did meet him years ago. I do know they were good people so I can safely say they passed on their beliefs and good nature onto Adam, from what I have read about him, he was a good man, a man that would make the best of friends, and someday a husband and father. From what I have read of him I can only say I missed out. God Bless him and his family.

Adam you will truly be missed in this world. You were a great conversationalist and helpful co-worker. I enjoyed bouncing ideas off of you and getting your thoughts on solving issues. Thank you for all you did! Praying for your family during this time of loss.
