Obituary of Jacqueline "Jackie" Grigsby Crim
Jacqueline “Jackie” Grigsby Crim, 67, resident of Lexington, passed away on February 11, 2020 at her residence.
Born January 17, 1953 in Nashville, TN, she was the daughter of Clara H Grigsby and the Late John Booker “Jack” Grigsby, Jr.
Jackie loved educating/crafting young minds from preschool to middle school age. Her passion through life was our youth. She enjoyed gardening, reading, cooking, outdoors and sports. She spent many years watching them in person cheering her children and grandchildren on. Her greatest passion was her family. She was known by many names, Mom, Momma, Mam Maw and Grandma. Every moment with family brought delight to her eyes. She was very proud of every accomplishment (big or small) anyone made. She was our biggest cheerleader and supporter. She loved unselfishly, whole heartedly and would do anything for anyone.
Jackie is survived by her loving husband Gary H. Crim; her children, Gary H. Crim, Jr (Glenda)of Lexington, Elizabeth C. Stoudemire (Roland) of Swansea, John E. Crim (Sara) of Prosperity; a sister, Sandra K. Poole of Ellijay, GA; a brother-in-law Wayne Crim (Joy) of Nashville; grandchildren, Dylan, Ashley, Alex, Dylan, Abby, Elliott, Lala and many nieces and nephews.
Jackie was predeceased by a brother–in-law Ralph Poole; a niece Rebecca Angel and nephew Eric Poole.
