Obituary of Eleanor H. Gross

Eleanor H. Gross was born on August 3, 1930 in Cohoctan, New York passed away January 27, 2020 after a brief illness.

Eleanor is predeceased by her husband, Edward C. Gross; her parents Leona and Arthur Huntone; and her sister Marilyn Proctor.

She is survived by her children, Jeanne (Brad) Langton, Norman (Becky) Gross, David (Sheila) Gross and Steven (Shelly) Gross.

Eleanor had four grandchildren, Taralee Wood, Sam, Jonathan and Jamie Gross.

She also had four great grandchildren, Tyler Wilkins, Tiffany Cornwell, Thomas Wood and Tatyana Wood along with one great grandchild Leland.

Also, survived by her brother, Raymond Huntone.

She was a faithful Christian giving of her time to different organizations like Meals on Wheels, VOE, and served as church treasurer.

Family was important in her life providing guidance, wisdom and at times her disapproval.

The service will be Saturday, February 1, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 1000 Greenlawn Drive, Columbia, SC 29209.  The reception will follow the service.
