Obituary of Peggy Joyce Bundrick

Peggy Joyce Bundrick, 86, of West Columbia, South Carolina passed away December 19, 2019 at home.    She was born on September 27, 1933 in McBee, South Carolina to the late James Hall and the late Mary (Steen) Martin.

Peggy was known to her grandchildren and many others as Nanny.   She was adored by all that knew her.  Peggy was always a great listener and a wonderful confidant.   She and her husband Bub owned and operated City Garage and Body Shop in Columbia for 36 years.  Peggy was a great friend to so many and loved by all that knew her.

Peggy is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Melton "Bub" Bundrick; her daughters, Candace (Murray) Fant, and Ramona (Rick) Myers.  She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jason (Noel) Fant, Jamie Fant, Drew Myers (Kalyn Rush), and Trent Myers (Alicia Dahl); her great-grandchildren, Logan Kate, Drayton, and Christian Fant.  

The family will receive friends at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington, 4720 Augusta Road, Lexington, SC 29073 on Sunday, December 22, 2019 from 1:00PM - 2:00PM.  Funeral services will follow at 2:00PM.   Deacon Russell Laird will be officiating.  Interment will be held at Woodridge Memorial Gardens, 138 Corley Mill Road, Lexington, SC 29072 at 3:00PM following the funeral service.  

Memorials may be made to James Player Class at Green Hill Baptist Church, 1800 Augusta Rd. West Columbia, SC 29169.
