Obituary of John Beverly McRae Jr.

John "Coot" Beverly McRae, 77, of Columbia, South Carolina passed away November 29, 2019.    He was born on August 8, 1942 in Columbia, South Carolina to the late John and Frances (Miller) McRae.

Coot proudly served his country in the US Army.  He was a loyal Clemson fan.   Coot enjoyed making models.  He was very much a handyman. 

Coot is survived by his son, Robert Shannon (Cathy) McRae; his daughters, Debra L (Chris) Morgan and Tiffany Mishoe; his grandson, Andrew S. (Amanda) McRae; his granddaughter Ashley L. (Keith) Gordon; his great-grandchildren, Harper Gordon, Jaxson Gordon, and Payton Mishoe; and his sister, Stephanie McRae Santiago. 

Interment will be at Fort Jackson National Cemetery, 4170 Percival Road, Columbia, SC 29229 on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at 10:00AM.
