Obituary of Harriet Sox Corley

West Columbia – Harriet Sox Corley, age 93, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 30, 2019.  Harriet was born in Columbia, South Carolina on September 29, 1926 to the late Vernon and Katherine Sox

She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, and devoted husband, Ralph “Corky” Corley.

Harriet is survived by three children; Vicki Duval, Nancy “Tina” (Yosuke) Oshima and Ralph “Rick” (Mandy) Corley; 5 grandchildren; Amanda, Nathan, and Natalie Corley, Megumi and Michiya Oshima; extended family, Mollie (Henry) Taylor and Steve DuPriest; and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 5, 2019 at 3 PM at Celestial Memorial Gardens, 3111 Delree St., West Columbia, SC 29170, officiated by Rev. Alex Twedt.  The family will receive friends after the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or a charity of your choice.
