Obituary of Faith Raymond

Faith Raymond, 76, of Sandy Run, wife of Gene Raymond, passed away Friday, November 22, 2019.  She was born on August 15, 1943 to the late Leland and Frances Murray.  She was raised in Holly Hill, SC, then attended the University of South Carolina and resided in Sandy Run, SC since 1976. She retired from South Carolina Vocational Rehabilitation.   Anyone that knew her could see that her faith in God was strong and that it was the most important part of her life. From her loving heart for others to her fervent prayer life, her fruits in this world point to a soul that was saved by her faith in Jesus and is now resting and rejoicing in heaven.

She is survived by two sons, Thad Raymond (Caroline) and Leland Raymond; two sisters, Bonnie Bull and Harriet Brown; three grandchildren, Taylor Beth Raymond, Eliza Raymond, and Wells Raymond.

The burial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at Beulah United Methodist of Sandy Run, South Carolina.  The visitation will be the night prior 6-8 p.m. on November 25, 2019 at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington.
